The driving factor for this project was the restricted access to the office. The table had to be delivered up a tight spiral staircase, and therefore the solution was to design it to be flat-packed into smaller component parts.

Our client wanted the table to form multiple roles, both as seating for several people during a meeting, but also to function as a desk space for two employees the rest of the time. The split down the centre of the table top allows charging cables to easily be tucked away when plugged into the two surface mounted plug banks.

The splayed stance of the legs offers maximum leg room underneath the table without any obstruction. The table top is CNC cut from plywood and faced with a melamine type surface for durability and ease of cleaning.

The legs of the table are made from Olive Ash for a subtle yet aesthetically interesting grain pattern. Straight grain along the visible faces accentuates the strong lines of the table.
